Preparing for the start of the new season, Chelsea makes the right move regarding the players thrown in battle for the title.
Chelsea won with 4-0 the friendly game against Thailand All-Stars! Villas-Boas said that he was impressed of the dedication and egger to play showed by Josh McEachran, offensive midfielder who has just turned 18 in March.
Villas-Boas said: “Without focusing only on Josh, which is an incredible British talent for the future and having players like Chalobah, Billy Clifford and Jamal we will be very competitive this year. Josh played in the Champions League and that is a good thing for all young players that we have.”
The victory acts like a boost for the teams morale, and let’s everybody to imagine a happy ending for Chelsea this year.
“Josh has to be competitive and show that he is in the best shape, like the others, and then we will decide about which one plays when and for how many times. When we reach the start of the season decisions will be taken in this way and depending on injuries, but I can tell that there will be enough opportunities for everyone.” Villas-Boas continued.
