“We dominated the whole game, played well and deserved to win to be fair. We had 60 per cent possession against United..” said Andre Villas-Boas.

Manchester United still occupies first place in the championship and Tottenham ranks 4, 15 points away.

Chelsea playing for pride with Newcastle

With the known parcour in the Premier League, Chelsea know they are playing for pride only after their title hopes got to an end after the defeat at Manchester United. Till here, Newcastle United have managed just one point from a possible 12 on the road.

After this game, a Chelsea win would leave third-placed Arsenal needing a lot of luck, since the Blues’ goal difference is already seven better than that of the Gunners.
