The long negotiations between Barcelona and Arsenal for their star player, Cesc Fabregas, worth’s every moment of patience. After all those rumors about the fit in of Arsenal’s striker in Barcelona’s gameplay, he showed what he is able to do.
Fabregas won two trophies in a week with Barcelona. Former Arsenal captain has even managed his first goal for Barca in the friendly against Napoli 5-0!
While playing for Arsenal, Fabregas got just one trophy: the FA Cup in 2004-2005. This was just one of the reasons for him wanting to leave England.
“I’m tired of always struggling on 20 fronts, to feel every year that, come on, that’s our season, even take a trophy, and we do not win anything ! I win trophies and I want them in my home, on the Camp Nou” said Fabregas before signing with Barca, with which he won two trophies in the last 7 days: Spanish Super Cup and Joan Gamper trophy.
The things for Fabregas look to go in the right direction, but he has a lot to prove in a team like Barcelona’s. If he wants to play the whole 90 minutes, he has to deserve it.
