Another draw for Fulham, this time against Manchester City at the City of Manchester Stadium in a largely disappointing match.
Mario Balotelli had given the Blues the lead in the first half with but Damien Duff ‘s equaliser two minutes after the break and obtained for Fulham one important point.
“I’m disappointed with the result but I knew it was a possibility. This can happen when you play every three days. We were so tired and we couldn’t score.” said Roberto Mancini after the game.
“I enjoyed the performance from my team. I thought we were excellent from start to finish. We really took the game to City and showed great belief in what we were trying to do.” said Mark Hughes.
