The problems started to appear since 2005, when the Glazer family bought Manchester United. So from 2005 until now, they paid 500 million to the bank coming in 2010 with a deficit of 125 million.
In the past six years, Man. United has won three consecutive Premier League titles, reached the league finals twice, once defeating, owns a World of clubs trophy, three League Cup and three Super cups.
In the past six years, Manchester has reached a “gallery” in the world estimated at 50 million supporters.
However, in the last six years, after the Glazer family bought the club with 1.1 billion euros (600 million borrowed), Manchester United is playing just to cover the debt. Instead of investing in transfers, they paid 500 million to the bank. And the fact that the 2009-2010 financial season showed a deficit of 125 million is a consequence of this policy. Plus, the club dropped on March from 1st to 3rd in the Top 20 by D & T with the richest European groups.
How will affect all those events the players game? An influence is sure to appear but to find out exactly what…stay tuned!
