With no trophy for this season, Chelsea prepares massive changes over the summer. The most important target of the owner, Roman Abramovich, is Guus Hiddink’s return on the bench. The Dutchman also helped at a time, returning the 2008-2009 season, and the Russian billionaire would want him now for a long-term contract.
But Hiddink as up-take of the agreement in 2012 that it is the Turks, Abramovich is preparing a special offer to persuade. Specifically, it is a royal salary: 7 million euros net per year.
And last but not least, on an outstanding contributor: Gianfranco Zola, 44 years old, with no commitment after his separation from West Ham a year ago.
By bringing Zola the favorite stands at Stamford Bridge after 300 matches played in the blue shirt, the leadership is trying to mend broken pots by the dismissal of Ray Wilkins, the former mate of the current manager Carlo Ancelotti.
With those moves, Chelsea will strengthen the team and for the next season hopes for winning the title will increase.
