After a great season in Premier league at Everton, Romelu Lukaku attracted the attention from many big clubs.
Lukaku is a talented Belgian striker who started to play football at age of five in a local team from Belgium. After only four years he was discovered by SK Lierse scouts and so he received the chance to develop his career at a Belgian Pro League team with an established youth academy.
He played only two seasons there and after Lierse relegated in second division, Anderlecht bought him and another 12 youth players. In 2009 he signed his first professional contract with Anderlecht, and in short time he made the debut in First Belgian Division against Standard Liege.
It did not take much time and Lukaku became a regular first team member. He started to impress and in the same time the interest from big clubs increased
After only two seasons the Belgian striker joined Chelsea for a fee of €20 million but he spent almost of the season playing for the reserves. The next two seasons was loaned at West Bromwich Albion and Everton but even if he played better and better, Mourinho was decided to sell him to Everton for £28 millions in 2014.
Lukaku is in superb form this season as he scored 18 goals in 28 Premier League appearances and he became a main target for many big clubs including Manchester United an Chelsea Londra.
Everybody at Manchester United is convinced that Lukaku is the striker who will bring glory back at Old Trafford after a few modest seasons, including former striker Louis Saha who described the Belgian as the perfect transfer for Red Devils.
On the other side Chelsea are trying to fix the mistake they have done last summer when they sold him. They will try to re-sign Romelu Lukaku from Everton, but now they will need to pay a big amount of money if they want him.
It is speculated that any club that wants Romelu Lukaku will need to pay £56 million, double the amount that was payed in 2014 by Everton.
